This Tuesdays and every Tuesday, plus the 3rd Saturday of each month

The garden needs work each week there is a lot to do: creating our beds for our family of trees and plants, mulching our fruit trees and keeping the grass from around the trees and fruit bushes, mending the clay cob walls on the inside and outside of the building, sharpening and keeping good all our tools, finishing the steps, maintaining the ponds and the wind breaks, tree planting & protection of trees from voracious rabbits! digging the swales and cutting back the ever present black thorn, and other numerous and ongoing jobs!
There is lots of space and plenty of tools and jobs far and wide in the garden so we can keep safe. There is instruction and support for all the jobs and as you get to know the garden you can begin to initiate and contribute. We have plenty of hand washing stations. We bring hot water or boil water on the Kelly kettle which you are welcome to use , otherwise bring your own hot drinks , bring your own food, drinking water and gloves if you have them.
You can be a part of a: sustainable, tasty, chemical free, future with food grown and enjoyed by us- the community. When the food grows you will be entitled to enjoy it as well as the ongoing benefits of connection, learning and valuing your own part in sustainable solutions for everyone. Want to be part of this project? just come along for any or all of the day.
With thanks to everyone who has contributed through: their hands on work, skills, ideas, fun and passion to the community garden so far. All our actions count right now. Thanks also to the staff and volunteers at Eco shop who have funded the work.
