On the day you can experience:
- Jade Mellor steam-distilling plants in her copper boiler to produce a hydrasol and a small amount of essential oil.
- A demonstration and talk all about preserving foods.
- A fun dramatization of First Aid using the plants around us.
- A tour of the site explaining our ways of working and the benefits of the Forest Garden environment.
- There will be crafts for adults and children including : whittling, windmill making, nature card making and a treasure hunt for the family.
